Vota Ranch sits on open land in Machakos County, built around a genuine eco-farm rather than a manicured lawn. Cottages, tents, and event lawns are scattered through the same grounds where the vegetables are grown and the cattle graze. There's a pool for the afternoon, live music for the evening, and enough open space that a wedding party and a family on a weekend escape never have to share a view.

Most of what lands on your plate was picked from the ranch's own farm that morning. Our cooks work around the harvest, not a laminated menu, so the vegetables are whatever is actually in season. Vota Ranch's lawns and tree cover give a garden ceremony its backdrop without needing much added decor, room for seated guests, a dance floor, and overflow parking, all part of the grounds already. Rain or shine, the makuti-roofed spaces double as a backup reception area if the weather turns, and on-site cottages mean the bridal party doesn't need a drive to get ready.

Meet somewhere that isn't a hotel ballroom
Conference space with natural light and room to break out into smaller groups, plus open ground next door for a session that needs to move outside for an hour. Team-building programs run from a half-day add-on to a full retreat with overnight cottages included. Meals come straight from the farm kitchen.
